How to Turn Off Hardware Acceleration in Google Chrome:

    1. open Chrome on your computer
    2. click the three dots (â‹®) at the top-right corner to open the menu
    3. go to Settings
    4. scroll down and click on “System” (you may need to click “Advanced” to see it)
    5. find the option that says “Use hardware acceleration when available.”
    6. toggle it off (so it turns grey)
    7. click “Relaunch” to restart Chrome and apply the change

note: Disabling hardware acceleration can sometimes fix issues like screen tearing laggy performance or black screens especially if your graphics drivers are outdated or incompatible.
